Hi, Dow Rallying

I'm back after a long break and the Dow Jones continues to rally, up around 150 point to 9225, with the Nasdaq approaching the 2000 mark which it hit earlier today, and the S&P 500 also nearing an important benchmark at 1000. Do you think the rally is sustainable and is it real, make a comment and tell me your thoughts.

Really Fast

Got to get to work here, however I just wanted to note that overnight Japanese markets were closed with Asian markets down. Also, European markets were down mostly this morning. Finally, all US major markets were down with the DJIA down 100. For info involving the death of the Bernie Madoff fed chief, check out a good article on www.cnbc.com on the headlines. Zzzzzz...

It was a quiet day on wall street with the DJIA down 100 points nearly on the nose. OPEC decided to cut oil by 2.2 million bpd, leaving an over 4.2 million bpd. However, oil prices dipped strongly to close at $40.05, the freefall could continue into tomorrow.

Not too good today

The DJIA was down over 242 points, the NASDAQ was down 24 points, and the S&P 500 was down 21 points. I'll have an update tomorrow on the latest stock news. Also NYMEX crude oil settled down below $43 a barrel. C ya!

Good Finish

Stocks finished the week on a good note. Europe fell however strongly from 3.5-5%. Over in Asia, this morning's trading finished mostly positive.

The DJIA was up 3.09%, the NASDAQ up 4.41%, and the S&P 500 was up 3.65%. Let's hope for the same next week.

Vacation

I will not be able to post for a few days as I will be going on vacation. Hope to be posting good numbers next week.

Asia/Pacific was very bad overnight with the Hang Seng Losing 5% and the Nikkei 225 losing 6.5%. Alot more of the Asia/Pacific stocks were down as well.

On the other hand European stocks were all up including the FTSE, CAC, and DAX along with many others.

Today I will only show numbers for some American Stocks which had a good day. This is a bonus day showing the variation of stocks that are major. Obviously I won't have all these every day. Some days I may have only the US major 3.
